Getting started!
The session officially kicks off on Sunday, 10 January 2016 but for any eager beaver who wants to plunge into learning we’ve put together a few warm-up activities. These activities aim to help the participants to get to know the learning environments, the moderators and each other as well as start thinking about technology in their context.
So besides joining the Canvas site (Canvas is the name of the Virtual Learning Environment) and having a look around, updating your profile, we’d like our participants to engage in the following two activities:
- You & Learning Technologies – this activity lets you share your experience in using technology in your classroom with the rest of the community. You can tell us about your general experience or a particular project, you can tell us about your sucesses or reflect on the challenges. We hope this online wall will get soon busy with postings (any format is welcome: text, image, video or audio).
- You, your needs and objectives – Survey – Next we’d like you to fill in a short questionnaire to let us know more about you – just 10 questions so it shouldn’t take longer than 10 mins.
